5th April 2021 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: N Wind Stength: 30-40 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot wind blown surf Air Temperature: 6ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Sunny Spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started with my 5m sail but knew it was going to be too much walking down tht beach. Had one run to confimr thnis and headed back in to rig my 4.5m. Even that was a little too much but with loads of downhaul I managed to hold on and had a fun sesssion in the choppy waves. Stopped after an hour on the water for a rest and Michelle came out with a kite. I went back out to but the wind had dropped a little now. Still OK but not always easy to stay upwind on the small kit so after another half hour decided to call it a day. Nice to be out in the sunshine and the conditions were pretty full on for a while. |
